Does Adventure Codex Sync Across Web and Mobile?

Yes. Sign in with your email (a one-time magic link) and the same character and game state sync across the web app, iOS, and Android. Sync is free and included.

Adventure Codex keeps one copy of your character and game state that follows you between screens. Start a fight on your phone, pick up on a tablet, review it later in the browser: the HP, temp HP, spell slots, consumables, and currency are the same everywhere once you are signed in.

Setting it up

There is no pairing step and no password. On each device, sign in with the same email address. You get a one-time magic link, tap it, and that device is linked to your account. From then on, changes made on one device appear on the others.

If you were tracking as a guest before signing in, that character carries into your account, so you do not lose anything by signing in later.

Sync is free

Cross-device sync is part of the free tier. You do not need the $19.99 per year subscription for your own character to move between the web app, iOS, and Android. The subscription is only for the shared Table features (DM maps and group loot).

Shared Tables sync too

A Table is a shared party space, and it syncs across every member. When someone updates the group loot pool or currency pool, or an item moves and the audit log records it, all signed-in members at that Table see the change on their own devices.
